Dr Filip Klubicka

Filip is a post-doctoral researcher at the ADAPT Centre, based in Trinity College Dublin. In 2022 he completed his PhD in the area of computational linguistics and NLP supervised by Professor John D. Kelleher. His research interests lie at the intersection of semantics, idiomatic usage detection and algorithm interpretability, with a focus on model evaluation pipelines. In addition to his academic work, in the past he has also worked on industry projects, most notably partnering with Huawei Ireland to build a natural language to SQL translation system, as well as working for LinkedIn Ireland as AI Linguist to drive the evaluation of AI Agents. An aspiring jogger and video game enthusiast, in his spare time, of which there is little, he moonlights as a singer and manager of Ireland’s premiere vocal band Ardú.
