Felix Vanden Borre
Research Assistant
Felix Vanden Borre is a research assistant on the VOICES project. His background is in early modern religious and cultural history, and digital humanities. He has previously worked in research libraries and on a project deploying AI to interpret and classify visual communication during the German Reformation. Felix is especially interested in mixing traditional scholarship and innovative computational methods to advance historical research and archival discoverability. Historical data is ‘messy’ by contemporary standards and mustbe rendered legible to both humans and computers. To this end, he works on historical Natural Language Processing and data modelling.
